How much does it cost me?
Joining is free. Finding work is free. Logging your hours and getting your invoice are free. There is no fee when you get a job, and no commission out of your day rate. Later we will sell paid extras, like deeper reporting. Those are extras, and you choose them.
Do you take money from my day rate?
No. The company pays our fee on top of your rate. If you agree £220 a day, you invoice £220 a day.
Am I employed by VORDO?
No. You stay self-employed. Your CIS and your tax stay the same. We only keep the record of your work.
Do I have to stop my other work?
No. Take the jobs you want. Say no to the rest. There is no minimum.
Do I need a CSCS card?
Most sites ask for one. Add it when you join and we send it with you.
What if the company does not pay me?
Your hours are saved with the time and the place. That is proof. It does not force a company to pay, but you can show exactly what you worked.
What if there is no work near me yet?
Then we tell you, and you stay registered for nothing. We are early. Work is thickest in the cities listed above, and bricklayers are what we place first. You will not get texts about jobs two hours away, and you are never charged for waiting.
Who is behind VORDO?
Vladimir Castravet. He was a tradesman before he ran a construction company, and he still runs one. He built this because he could not buy it. That is why the company pays and you do not.
What do you do with my number?
We text you about work near your postcode. That is all. We never sell it, and you can stop the texts at any time by replying STOP.
