A small percentage of the day rate, added on top of it, only for days worked · nothing at all if you never use the pool
Every director already has a way of filling a gap. It is the same way, and it costs a morning each time.
Three agencies, six numbers from the last job, and a WhatsApp group. Half of them are already on somebody else’s site.
A name on a call is not a man on site. You budget for four and price the week on four, and the programme assumes four.
Anyone who is worth ringing back is being rung by everybody else. Agencies take their cut out of his day, so he moves for the rate.
“You ask. We place. You approve the week.”
The site, the trade, the days you need and the day rate you are paying. Two minutes, from your own account.
Workers who have registered close to that postcode and work that trade. They see the job and the rate before they accept it.
Their hours log themselves against your project, so the cost lands on the job the day it is worked, not at month end.
One tap. The hours become their invoice and your cost, from the same record, so there is nothing to reconcile.
A percentage of the day rate, charged to you and added on top of it. Only for days actually worked. No retainer, no introduction fee, and nothing at all in a week you do not use the pool.
The day rate,
plus a percentage
Added on top of the rate you set. If you post a day at £220, the worker is paid £220 for that day and our fee sits above it, on your side of the invoice.
£220 is an example rate, not a price we set. You set the rate.
Nothing, ever
Nothing is taken out of his day. That is not generosity, it is the reason the pool is worth hiring from: a trade who keeps his whole rate has no reason to leave for somebody else’s agency.
You set the rate, not us. We do not mark up his day and we do not tell you what to pay. You post what the work is worth to you, and a worker decides whether to take it.
Fulham, London. The system works anywhere in the UK.
We place bricklayers first, because that is what our companies are short of now. Every other trade is registered and can be placed as the pool fills.
Tell us where the site is and we place near it. Anyone in England, Scotland or Wales can register, and placement is densest where the work is.
It depends on who has registered near that postcode and what they are already on, so we will not promise a turnaround we cannot keep. Bricklayers are the trade we are placing first, because that is what companies are asking us for now.
No. The fee is calculated on days actually worked, and a day nobody worked is not charged. Hours are logged on site rather than claimed afterwards, so what you are billed for is what was recorded.
No. An agency takes its margin out of the worker’s day and keeps you away from him. Our fee is added on top of the rate you set, the worker keeps all of it, and he works on your site under your instruction.
That is fine. There is no retainer and no minimum. If you never use the pool again you are charged nothing for it.
Yes. You can put a job up for the people you have already used, so the pool builds into your own list rather than starting from strangers every Monday.
The trade, the postcode, the days and your rate. Nobody rings you, and you are not charged for asking.
No card, no retainer, no minimum term
